WGSN Global Fashion Awards 2011

TRACE Publicity flew to NYC last week with our charity Trekstock, the official charity for the WGSN Global Fashion Awards 2011.

Hosted on the 20th October at Gotham Hall, New York the WGSN Global Fashion Style Awards 2011 represented the best in the industry, innovation and excellence across fashion design, retail and marketing on a global scale.

The shortlist was packed with nominees from all sectors of the industry; multinational brands sat alongside innovative one-store boutiques, and big online-fashion names beside international catwalk heavyweights.

Our very own Matches won the prestigious award for ‘Outstanding Brand Mix’ against Lane Crawford and Opening Ceremony, whilst Eudon Choi received the award for ‘Emerging Talent’.

Global Style Icon, Daphne Guinness was presented with an award from WGSN whilst Womenswear designer Anna Sui presented Barbara Hulanicki the award for ‘Outstanding Contribution to Fashion’.
