Georgia Hardinge – STILL

Georgia Hardinge showcased her SS13 collection entitled ‘STILL’ in a short film at the BFC Canon Cinema Space today. Featuring on the Digital Schedule, Hardinge previewed the film to press and buyers alongside models showcasing key pieces from the collection.

Synonymous for her three dimensional interpretations, this season Hardinges’ collection was inspired by the work of revered Surrealist artist Gustav Klimt. This visual reference was combined with Sigmund Freud’s theories of the inner workings of the mind to create a considered and modern collection.

Utilising structural designs with luxury fabrications, the SS13 collection was immortalised into a film encapsulating the story to create an ethereal visual journey.

Filmed under water, the synopsis of the film explores Freud’s theories of the unconscious mind and the mechanism of psychological repression.
