Katie Rowland – ISHTAR SS13

London jewellery designer Katie Rowland debuted her SS13 film at London Fashion Week this morning in the Canon Cinema Screening Room, Somerset House.

Her collection which was previewed in film, referenced the provocative Ishtar, Babylonian goddess of fertility, love and war. Embodying an edgy elegance, the collection is an irresistibly potent fusion of Ishtar’s carnal strength and decadent nature. The collection features motifs inspired by her fabled iconography, such as encircling serpents, eight-pointed stars and lion-like lethal talons and will be available worldwide from January 2013.
