Junior Account Executive

TRACE Publicity is a leading London based PR agency that works with renowned brands across Fashion, Accessories and Lifestyle Beauty & Wellness brands. TRACE Publicity is looking for an extremely organised, collaborative and fashion obsessed individual to join the growing team. In this role the Junior Account Executive will be responsible for the day to day running of sample traffic, media monitoring and press coverage tracking, as well as providing essential administrative & dedicated support to the fashion team. This exciting opportunity to work alongside a close-knit team of talented PRs will also allow you to further develop a keen creative eye and expand your little black book of top tier media contacts while working on some covetable fashion brands.

The successful applicant must:

● Show ambition, initiative, creativity and a desire to be part of a dynamic and

● A genuine passion and knowledge of the fashion industry is crucial
● You must have knowledge of the fashion media landscape and a tenacity to deliver
impactful media coverage.

A minimum of six months experience within the fashion industry (agency and/ or
in-house) experience is desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

● Daily monitoring of newspapers, magazines and websites, scanning for client coverage.
● Consistently and pro-actively identify new media opportunities for your clients in print,
online and broadcast.
● Generate news and product placement in key print and digital titles.
● Overseeing product sample send outs and returns, ensuring the fashion press office is
well run and organised.
● Client facing attendance of client meetings, ensuring meeting minutes and agenda’s are
actioned.
● Manage the execution of creative mailers.
● Effective press release writing in line with relevant client tone of voice.
● Managing fashion product stock arrivals and stock control to ensure sample management is seamless.
● Supporting media relations efforts with regular press appointments and media outreach.
● Support at press events.
● Delivery of weekly and monthly coverage client reports.
● Daily liaison with the Digital team on fashion product send-outs/ stock management.
● Administration support.

Senior Account Manager / Jnr Account Director

TRACE is looking for an experienced and confident Senior Account Manager/Jnr Account Director (dependent on experience) to join the agency's growing Fashion & Lifestyle Division. The successful applicant must have unrivalled media contacts with proven experience devising and implementing creative, high impact, communication strategies across both mass & prestige brands.

Working across the agency’s brand roster, we are looking for an individual who leads with influence, with the ability to inspire and mentor their direct reports and influence both internally and externally at senior level.

Experience overseeing budgets, OOH campaigns and media spend is a must with the ability to work with the internal production team and external suppliers to deliver ground breaking,  experiential events for our clients.

Must have strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent prioritising and time management, ability to work to tight deadlines and strong interpersonal skills.

Minimum of 5/6 years agency and/or in-house experience is essential with proven strong media contacts at Fashion Editor and Fashion Director levels, whilst contacts within publishing/advertising and Editor levels will be a distinct advantage.

The role will be responsible for the day to day running of client accounts, driving and generating press strategy whilst also having the ability to secure larger profile editorial. Nurturing, inspiring and supporting the team at all levels alongside providing essential support to the Head of Fashion and Directors.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic support across clients and team

  • Day-to-day running of the client accounts and managing all client expectations

  • Pitching to press for a variety of coverage on client accounts. Particularly generating feature placement in appropriate titles

  • Managing client accounts and delegating tasks to junior team members

  • Drive and develop creative concepts and news worthy stories that will result in press coverage

  • Manage PR budget for all activity across each client

  • Drive, implement and manage the PR strategy within agreed budgets across all clients to increase brand awareness and maximise brand performance

  • Work to deliver  small to large scale events for all clients with the support from the team and external suppliers

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with national, regional and online industry press to increase brand reach and awareness

  • Manage the development of all public relations materials, including press releases, pitches, fact sheets, product launch activity recaps and presentations

  • Analyse client monthly coverage and KPIs

  • Manage the teams continued progression through the business, supporting on their personal kpis/development

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 5-6+  years of direct Fashion, Retail & Lifestyle experience with an established agency or similar role in-house

  • Confident team leader with strong pastoral care

  • Experience delivering global strategy

  • Strong fashion & lifestyle journalist contacts

  • Experience managing budgets

  • Previous experience of events management

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively

  • Efficient, organised with excellent time management skills

  • Confident communicator who can influence at Snr Mgt level
